What to measure:
Chest - Under your arms around the widest part of your chest.
Waist - Your waist line around where your pants sit.
Hips - Around your hips about 4 inches below your waist measurement.

Just in time for the hiking season, this years run of the BlackRock Vest is here. We've added pockets and upgraded the design. Made with some amazing fabric this is one of the most beautiful pieces ever to come out of our workshop. Get your ultra warm base layer and a matching HadronS beanie today.
At one full ounce lighter than most UL vests it will pack anywhere and with more fill there is simply no better base layer than the Black Rock Vest. A mid-weight style with an ultralight weight boasting over 2 inches of loft this ultralight vest packs the heat. The Black Rock Vest is a simple elegant design with only the elements you need to look good and keep warm.
The second piece in our "S-Series" gear the vest is made with a 7DS ripstop shell. This waterproof material and will shed the rain and keep moisture out while retaining loft when worn as an outer layer or used in wet conditions. The vest is not waterproof but the material itself does an amazing job compared to a DWR coated nylon in addition to adding more warmth for less weight. The vests includes pockets finished with top quality stretch binding and the zipper is the lightest toughest YKK coil zipper available.

Vests are now sold out. There is one small set of vests left in stock for exchanges. I will put those last few vests up for sale once we've had a chance to complete any necessary size exchanges on currently sold stock. I will list the exact vests and sizes next month depending on what's left but our next batch won't be until fall.
The price includes free shipping for orders within the US. USPS Priority mail with Insurance, tracking and 3-5 day delivery will be used.
International orders will have two options: USPS Priority Mail with 6-10day delivery for ~$50USD or Express International Mail with 3-5day delivery at +$70USD. Once purchased we will invoice you the additional shipping fees before shipping. Currently Shipping prices have ranged from as little as $25 so depending on location the price may be less than $50USD. UK shipments require Express delivery for insurance and the price is expected to be around $55 or so based on location.
Sizing:
Sizing Update: I've changed the size labels on the measurement chart. We make and sell only 3 sizes: Medium, Large and X-Large. Our sizing is very fitted and runs small, so if your measurements are tight we recommend upsizing.
We don't currently offer a women's or unisex cut. The vests is a form fitting athletic cut and is designed to be worn over your base layers such as a Merino Wool long sleeve yet under your shell or other outer layers. This years run is more durable and weather resistant and can be worn as an outer layer then work in under your jacket or shell when conditions get bad.
Exchanges/Returns:
We are happy to accept exchanges and returns on all new/unused pieces. All that we ask is you contact support and set up to mail the piece back to us. Once received we will exchange or refund your order. International returns may include additional shipping fees for exchanges.
