The Black Rock Overmitt is taking ultralight to the next level by utilizing the strongest and lightest materials in a unique ergonomic two piece design. At 12 grams for the pair (the weight of five pennies!) these are the lightest fully functional shell rain mitts available.
Each mitt has a stretch elastic wrist to keep it in place while trekking and a custom Titanium cord lock at the gauntlet to cinch the mitt's shut. These mitt's are designed to keep your insulation layer dry and your hands warm in even the wettest conditions.
Designed to layer perfectly with the Black Rock Undermitts these pair up to create the lightest seam taped down insulated zero degree mitt system at 42grams. If you simply need the lightest waterproof breathable layer in your pack these mitt's are the answer.
The Black Rock Overmitt's are a fully functional rain mitt built for running or hiking with or without trekking poles. An adventure racer or ultra-marathoner's dream, this performance rain mitt is extremely tough for the weight and able to handle the rigors of hiking cross country.
The two piece design allows for a single continuous seam taped with Cuben Fiber backed tape to provide the strongest and most waterproof protection you can get in a single layer shell. This durable tape strengthens the mitts seams for an amazingly strong yet light shell.
